Memebox Superbox # 35 Fermented Cosmetics 2

Another happy mail day. My Fermented Cosmetics 2 Memebox arrived today. Fermented Cosmetics? Memebox? Fermented cosmetics has been all the rave in Korea for a while now. We all heard about how good and healthy are fermented food, like kimchi, are for you. So it was just a question of time when the skin care world discovered it. It's still not widely available here in the US but thanks to Memebox we can get these natural goods now here as well.
Memebox is a Korean beauty retailer, that sells themed boxes or single products in their shop. To read more about how Memebox works, you can go here to my unboxing of one of their boxes, where I talk a bit more about Memebox.

I was very excited when my Fermented Cosmetics 2 box (currently sold out) finally arrived. Memebox delayed the shipping on this box, because the product they used in their spoiler will expire in just 9 month and they wanted to add another product as a "We're sorry" gift and this whole thing delayed the shipping for a week. No problem, I can wait an extra week for a free product.

The Fermented 2 box was what they call a superbox, that means they include just full size items. In this box we had 8 full size products.
As usual they included a card with info, description and a how to use the products, since most of the packaging is in Korean.

I like how they also include pictures in their info cards. Most subscription boxes just include the name and price. So I really enjoy Memebox info cards.

1. Boscians Cycle Repeai Whitening Spot 15ml $24
It says this cream is enriched with various fermented extracts, hyaluronic acid which hydrates and improves skin elasticity. It nourishes the skin and gives it a glow from within.
Apply a small amound on fine lines and wrinkles.
I've tried it for a few days, but haven't seen any improvement yet.

2. Cotterang Aesthetic Reperative K-Cream 20g $43
The description on the card says it's made with centella asiatica extracts (see here), jojoba oil, sunflower seed oil and here it comes, gold extracts. That would surely explain the high price tag for a reallative small tube of this cream. It suppose to hydrate and calm red skin and help regenerate skin.

I don't really have any red skin, so I can't say anything about this claim, but it hydrates my skin and makes it feel nice and soft.

3. Cotterang Panda Eye Essence Mask $9 for all 3
How cute is this packaging? I mean c'mon the panda bear is just too cute. I don't really want to open it.
Made from pure vitamin C, vitamin E and various fermented compounds- honey, beans, mistletoe, licorice, and bacillus- the panda bear mask brightens up the skin tone and treats fine lines and wrinkles.
Place eye masks under your eyes and rest for 20-30 minutes. Store eye masks in refrigerator for better results.
I have not tried these, but this is exactly what I need. I hope they help with dark circles as well. I just need to find the time to use them. I will keep you updated with the results as soon as I try them.

4. Tosowoong Timeshift Skin Toner AP Therapy 120ml $34
This Timeshift skin toner is enriched with nutrition-rich fermented extracts, galactomyces ferments, snail mucus extracts, bifida ferments and various plant oils.
It will soothe and deeply moisturize your skin. You might be wondering about snail mucus and galactomyces. It seems to be in a lot of Korean skin care products. I'm not appalled by it as long as I don't have a snail moving on my face I'm fine with it (and no, snails do NOT get killed for these cosmetics. In case you were wondering).
It is a gel like toner, and feels great on my face. That is pretty much all I can say at the moment.

5. The Skin House Face Calming Galactomyces Cream 30ml $19
This cream is made from fermented galactomyces (some kind of fungus) and some active ingredients. It has a pink- peachy color and does smell really good.

6. SoyBIO+ Fermented Soap 80g $42
It is made from fermented bean extract and BTX complex (no clue what that is). I have not tried this soap yet. I have a few face washes I need to use up first and since this is a bar soap it will last longer than the others. It smells very herby (is that even a word?). It suppose to foam up nicely and clean out your clogged pores. Maybe I should try it. My pores need help. This is why I also bought the Pore 3 Memebox. You can read more about the Pore 3 box here.

7. Dermahouse Galactomyces Wrinkle Care Essence Mask $2
Here we go again. More galactomyces (fungus, not mice from outer space). The packaging just reminds me of a poster for Phantom of the Opera.
I have not tried it, but I love Korean sheet masks. My favorite so far is the one from the Milk box. I'm pretty sure this one will be just as good.

8. D'Ran Wonder Serum 30ml $42
D'ran makes different kinds of Wonder Serums, this one is for regenerating and firming and is made with 7 powerful fermented plant extracts. This one was the spoiler they showed on the Memebox website that will expire in a few months and this is why this box was delayed. I can tell you that I will use it up before it expires. It feels so good and luxurious on my face. It has a wonderful, flowery scent to it and makes my skin soft and smooth. Another product I might buy again if I can find it somewhere for a cheaper price.

If you like Memebox go here and see what boxes you like. You sign up, but there is no monthly subscription, nor do you have to buy anything (but I'm sure you will). Right now, if you sign up, you will get 2 Memepoints, which equal $2. You can spend them right away if you like.

On Friday, August 22, 2014 they will have great box coming out. Called the Jackpot box. For $32 you will get at least $60 worth of products but you can win a box with a value of $1000. Go check it out here.
